Back in 2017, Banter Hosting launched with one mission, to provide Fast, Reliable and Affordable hosting solutions to all both personal and businesses. We’ve kept our prices as low as possible to support you, our customers (new and old), to ensure you have access to efficient and effective services that get your business online and in another market during the ever-changing, innovative world that we are all living in, sometimes we do wonder if this world is just a simulation – who knows?
Anyway! Thank you for supporting and being on this journey, our services are here because you and many others pick us over the giants and we are forever grateful of that and will always that extra mile for our customers.
We do have some news that will affect all customers on our hosting packages. Our hosting prices have remained unchanged since 2020, despite significant increases in infrastructure, security, licensing, and support costs across the industry. Unfortunately, we’re no longer able to maintain these historic rates while continuing to provide a reliable, secure, and well-supported service.
As a result of this, our monthly hosting prices will be updated as follows:
- Basic Hosting
- £1.99 → £5.99 per month
- Standard Hosting
- £4.99 → £7.99 per month
- Advanced Hosting
- £7.99 → £15.99 per month
These changes allow us to continue investing in fast UK-based infrastructure, security updates, backups, and ongoing support.
Legacy hosting packages (such as older unlimited plans) are no longer viable in the current marketplace and will be reviewed separately. Customers on these plans will be contacted individually with suitable alternatives and guidance.
